GPW "W"
It looks like there are two kinds of "W" used when stamping the serial number.
Curved "W" Note the curved sides on the letter. This appears to be predominate on Ford cast blocks.
Straight "W" Note the straight sides on the letter. This appears to be predominate on Wilson and earlier Ford cast blocks.
